TEAM LEAN

Team Lean is a 10-week community wide weight loss challenge sponsored by the Thomasville YMCA, Nature's Own, Archbold Medical Center, Barberitos and the Thomasville Times-Enterprise.
Team Lean is a proven program to help people lose weight. Why does it work? The team concept provides accountability and motivation to work hard to achieve results, both for you and your team. Cash prizes provide that extra incentive to reward the teams and individuals that have the most success. Participants are allowed to decide what exercise and nutrition program is best for them. The YMCA supports Team Leaners through free exercise classes and nutrition education.
Team Lean participants can enter as an individual or as part of a team. Teams must consist of at least 4, but no more than 5 members. Every Thursday from January - March, participants weigh-in at official Team Lean weigh in sites around the community, including Grady County and Mitchell County. Weekly cash prizes are awarded based on highest percentage of weight lost for three categories: top male, top female and top team. Those that complete the 10 week challenge and lose the highest percentage of weight will be eligible for cash prizes!
Since 2008 over $100,000 in cash prizes has been awarded to the top Team Leaners!!!
