Child Care

The Thomasville YMCA has served the Thomas County area for over 20 years with quality child care.  Since first opening the doors to the after school program in 1986, the YMCA Child Care program has grown with the community.  The YMCA now houses two different facilities to meet the diverse needs of the community.   "Y" kids receive high-quality care based on our core values:  caring, honest, respect and responsibility.

The Y Child Care center, located at the Butler-Mason "Y" facility, supports your efforts to nurture your child's healthy development.  Well-trained staff provide safe, affordable, high quality care so you can have peace of mind while you work.  Working parents rely on the Y to pick up children at school for after school care.  The Child Care Center also offers activities and care during school holidays.  Each day over 350 children participate in the Y Child Care program.  Click here for more information about this program.

The Child Watch program, located at the Everett Milton "Y" facility serves 300 families annually whose children are too young to attend school, as well as offering supplemental care during school breaks for school aged children.  There is a Parent's Morning Out program and a drop in service.  The Child Watch Center serves children from ages 6 weeks old to 8 years old.  The Child Watch program is a member service of the YMCA.  Click here for more information about this program.
