Print2010 BOYS & GIRLS BASKETBALL INFORMATION
LEAGUES OF PLAY :
Ages 5-6 (7 ½’ goals on Shorter Court)
Ages 7-8 (8 ½’ goals on Full Court)
Ages 9-10 (8 ½’ goals on Full Court)
Ages 11-12 (Regulation goal on Full Court)
Age is determined by actual age on January 1, 2011
Games will be played at the Butler-Mason and Everett Milton YMCA
REGISTRATION :
$50.00 for Potential members $40.00 for members August 2- November 12
All participants will need to provide a copy of a birth certificate.
Financial assistance is available for qualifying individuals per the YMCA’s ability to fund. Please contact member services for further information prior to November 8, 2010.
There will be a $10.00 late fee for any registration after November 12, 2010.
UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT :The YMCA will furnish game shirts and basketballs. Participants need to furnish shoes & basketball shorts.
COACHES MEETING: 6pm Tuesday November 11
This meeting will provide an overview of the program and details concerning league play, rules, practice times and NYSCA certification.
EVALUATIONS: A MUST FOR COACHES TO ATTEND
**All evaluation will be held at the Butler Mason YMCA Gym**
9-10 year olds: 9-9:45am Saturday November 13
11-12 year olds: 10-10:45am Saturday November 13
4-5 and 6-7 do not have to attend evaluations
DRAFT DATES:
11-12 year olds: 6:00pm Tuesday November 16
9-10 year olds: 6:00pm Thursday November 18
Meet Your Coach:
Everett Milton YMCA Gym
5 -6 year olds: 10am-11am Saturday November 20
7 -8 year olds: 10am-11am Saturday November 20
9 -10 year olds: 11am-12pm Saturday November 20
11-12 year olds: 11am-12pm Saturday November 20
