LEAGUES OF PLAY:
Ages 5-7 Flag League
Ages 7-8 (grades 3-4) Pee-Wee League~ Ball carrier weight limit 80lbs
Ages 9-10 (grades 4-5) Midget League~ Ball carrier weight limit 100lb
Ages 11-12 (grades 5-6) Junior League~ No weight limit
Ages is determined by actual age on September 1, 2010
If a 7 year old elects to play Pee-Wee league and is drafted on a team he will not be allowed to go back to flag
All participants will need to provide a copy of a birth certificate
Opening Day: Saturday September 18
Weekly games will be played on Mondays & Tuesdays

UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT:
*Pee-Wee, Midget and Junior Leagues
The YMCA will furnish game jerseys, pants with pads, and shoulder pads. All players must furnish their own helmet (NOCSAE approved) equipped with a chin strap, mouth piece and face guard. The YMCA offers helmets on a rental basis for $15. The rental includes the mouth piece and chin strap. All participants will execute a property agreement upon issuance of equipment. Such execution assures the return of the equipment upon completion of final game or participant assumes liability for the cost thereof.
Due to necessity of having staff present to handle proper sizing, uniform issue will be held only during the following hours at Butler-Mason. Must bring registration receipt to get equipment. Participants will be weighed at time of uniform issue.
3:00- 6:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
3:00- 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and Friday
*Flag League
Helmets will not be issued for flag league. All equipment will be provided.
COACHES MEETING:
Pee-Wee, Midget & Junior Leagues Tuesday August 17 6:00pm
Flag League Thursday September 2 6:00pm
These meetings will be held at Butler Mason Childcare. They will provide an overview of the program and details concerning league play, rules and practice times. There will be a guest speaker.
MANDATORY EVALUATION:
Pee-Wee League Saturday August 21 9:00am
Midget League Saturday August 21 9:45am
Junior League Saturday August 21 10:30am
Evaluations are held at Football Complex “E” in Remington Park. Players should wear shorts and t-shirts. No equipment is needed for evaluations. No evaluations for Flag League.
