Group Exercise
The YMCA offers a variety of group exercise classes for active older adults, both on land and in the pool.
Exercise classes include:
AIM......Adults in Motion! An exercise class designed for those 55 years and up incorporating cardiovascular training, flexibility/strength, and balance.
Silver Sneakers......Yes, we have a class for you! This active older adult class will strengthen every muscle, including your heart, all in a chair! You will work on flexibility, balance, and cardio training. Join in the fun! **Silver Sneakers classes are held in the Community Room at Everett-Milton YMCA.
Aqua Fit.......Complete conditioning does not have to be limited to land classes! Challenge yourself with one of our joint-gentle aquatic workouts where anything goes.
Deep Water Aqua Fit.......Improve balance, muscle strength, and flexibility while receiving a great cardiovascular workout. Our deep water class utilizes buoyancy belts and exercise gloves.
