Tell Us Your Y Story
Barbara Clark Moore has fond memories of her childhood. Like many who grew up in the Rose City, those memories often revolve around time spent at the Thomasville YMCA. Whether it was learning about herself at Camp Piney Woods, learning to swim in the Y pool, or learning how to treat others, Barbara's life has been positively influenced by her experiences at the Y.
Barbara is now giving back to the Y in a special way. She is working on a book project of inspiring stories about others' experiences at the local YMCA. The book, quite simply, will be a collection of Y stories from ordinary people who have been touched by the Y in an extraordinary way.
Whether you have grown up through the Y or have just recently joined, Barbara would love to hear from YOU!! If you would like to share a Y story, old photo or fond memory, please do so by emailing her.
